In 2025 BULLCOIN was deployed on Solana to bring one of crypto's oldest bull-themed projects back to life. It ran — to roughly ~$1.2M — and then momentum slowed. Development stopped. Communication faded. The holders stayed. So the community stepped in and took the wheel.

Revive, don't replace

Launching a fresh token would have been the easy path. We took the harder one and brought an existing project back instead. Projects with real history deserve to continue, not disappear.

Owned by the herd

No single dev, no single influencer, no single wallet carries this. Artists, editors, writers, moderators and long-term holders do. Every contribution counts.

Built in public

Branding, artwork, the site, the archives, the socials — all of it improves in the open, one brick at a time, until the work speaks for itself.

We chose to revive Bullcoin — not because it was easy, but because a community takeover beats a graveyard.

A project with real history

Bullcoin didn't begin on Solana.

Crypto moves fast. Thousands of projects have come and gone, and very few can still point to public records stretching back more than a decade. We're not claiming to have created Bullcoin — we're preserving it and writing the next chapter.

The origin block
Bullcoin is introduced as free, open-source, peer-to-peer electronic cash and announced publicly on Bitcointalk — one of the oldest forums in crypto. The source is published on GitHub, where it is still sitting today.

Dormant, never deleted
The market moved on. The repository did not. Public records stayed exactly where they were left, which is more than most projects from that era can say.

The name is brought back on-chain with the goal of returning one of crypto's oldest bull-themed projects to life.

Transparency is one of the values we want Bullcoin to be known for, which means saying the uncomfortable things out loud.

Inherited distribution

Like most community takeovers, Bullcoin inherited an existing holder distribution. Those wallets existed before the community stepped in and are not under our control. Ignoring that would be easier and worse — saying it out loud is the whole point of a takeover built on trust.

Old wallets, still holding

A large share of the supply sits in wallets that have not moved in months. Some are holding on purpose, some have simply gone quiet, and a few are likely gone for good. None of them are ours, and none of them are under our control.

The long-term goal

A healthy, decentralised holder base with broad participation — ownership spread across builders, creators, contributors and long-term holders as the project grows.

What does CTO mean?

Community takeover. The original developers stopped working on the project, so the people who stayed picked it up — the branding, the socials, the site and the direction.

Did you create Bullcoin?

No. We're preserving its legacy and writing the next chapter. The original 2014 project and its public records belong to crypto's history, not to us.

Which network is it on?

Solana. The official contract address is published on this page and nowhere else that we control.

Is there a team wallet or tax?

No buy or sell tax. The tokenomics on this page are verifiable on-chain — check them yourself rather than taking our word for it.

Do I need to be a Solana person?

No. $BULLCOIN lives on Solana, but the community isn't tied to a chain and isn't trying to pull anyone away from theirs. Whatever you hold and wherever you came from, if you're bullish you're welcome.
